Living in New England, we are surrounded by some of the finest examples of old-world craftsmanship in architecture. We are students of the builders of yesterday in terms of detail and pursuit of aesthetic perfection. Driving around town, or while on a trip out of town, we will often stop to photograph a fine old home and plead for a tour of the inside. We love what we do. Our in house specialty revolves around custom treatment of interior and exterior details, made to order kitchen/bath cabinetry (Kitchens by Kurzhaus), millwork and architectural elements. We work diligently to stay abreast of the latest construction techniques, new product offerings and code changes. Quality is not something you buy; it is something you employ. The Process

We prefer to handle overall project management with our experienced group of field professionals. This affords Kurzhaus more control over attention to detail resulting in potential cost savings. We formalize the owner client relationship with a Contract which is based on the actual cost of the work, including trade discounts, plus a fee. All costs are known to all parties. Kurzhaus issues a monthly report that tracks all costs by line item. Copies of invoices, quotes and any other relevant information are submitted on a bi-monthly basis. We hold weekly company meetings to review scheduling, costs, changes, etc.. We also encourage meetings with the owner and to discuss these issues as well. The success of a project hinges on good communication.
